Combined string bridge is designed

Anatoly Yunitskiy has developed a concept of a combined string bridge for motorway (upper tier) and rail (lower tier) transport. The resource intensity (material consumption) of such bridge will be by 3-5 times less than in a traditional bridge. Such bridges will be by 3-5 times less costly and will be built by 2-3 times faster. To increase the length of central spans on the bridge, guy cables can additionally support them.
