Disadvantages of split overpass:

  • peak values of acceleration when moving through supports;
  • complicated design of the supporting node with a temperature joint.

Advantages of uncut pre-stressed overpass:

  • smooth change of acceleration when moving through supports;
  • more simple design of the supporting node.
