India rates second in the world after China in terms of population, whereas it surpassed all other countries by the pace of economic growth showing phenomenal results. In the current, challenging for emerging markets time, GDP growth in the country is expected at the end of the financial year at 7.6%. The following factors are beneficial for India: the fall in oil prices, investments and demographics. However, along with the achievements, a heap of problems is growing like a snowball. To a great extent they are caused by the fact that transport infrastructure is lagging behind the general development pace of the country as a whole.

In this regard, India has developed and implemented the program "Smart city", an urban planning concept to integrate various information and communication technologies and the Internet of things to manage urban property. The goal of the program is to improve the quality of life by raising the efficiency of servicing and meeting the needs of population. Its solutions are aimed at improving the quality, performance and interactivity of Municipal services, reducing costs and resource consumption. In addition to the management of the urban transport network, the industries that improve the technology of "Smart city" include government services, rational consumption of energy, healthcare, efficient use of water, innovative agriculture and waste disposal.

Cities consume over 30% of all domestically produced electricity and the project on creating "Smart cities" is also aimed in particular at creating energy efficient infrastructure. It is obvious that the SkyWay technology like no other one, meets all the requirements of the above concept. The government of India has already compiled a list of the top 20 cities, which are subject to enter the national program with the expected investment of USD 1.1 billion over the next 15 years.

It is also well-known that the Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping of the Republic of India Mr. Nitin Gadkari is a great supporter of environmental technologies that has been repeatedly discussed in the media. In addition, two years ago, he got a hard mission to inform the public about the death of the Minister of Rural Development, Drinking Water and Sanitation of India Gopinath Rao Munde in a road accident in New Delhi. So even personally Mr. Gadkari is highly interested in the implementation of Unitsky String Transport.

According to Deputy Director for development of SkyWay Technologies Co. Victor Baburin expressed after the business trip to India, this country is one great targeted project for SkyWay. It is therefore not surprising that the negotiations began very successfully: The Minister has already expressed his approval of a number of projects in the field of urban passenger and cargo port transportation.
