News of SkyWay Production

We offer to your attention the next report from the production facility of SkyWay Technologies Co., which features a sheet-bending pressure machine with a computerized numerical control (CNC), the force of 1,000 kN and the working width of 3 m that allow to process metal of up to 6 mm thickness. The new machine will be used jointly with the laser cutter: the manufactured items will be cut by patterns in the laser unit, then passed over to the pressure machine and further - to the welding or assembly section.

The equipment is provided with quickly removable stamping punches and molds allowing to fix the bending length from 15 to 3,000 mm. An operator just enters data, adjusts and controls the quality of the equipment operation. A computer sets to the machine all the operational parameters like the arm, angle, applied force, the number of items, etc.

Production engineer Yuri Sidorenko, known to you from the previous reports, who told us about the installation of the American 5-axle milling machine HAAS, described the changes that have occurred in his section since that time.

Translation of the video:

Mikhail Kirichenko: Hallo everybody! Here is Mikhail Kirichenko with you. You are watching SkyWay news, where we tell you about the developments and implementation of breakthrough transport technologies. We have recently visited with you the production facility of SkyWay Technologies Co., where they are completing to install the most sophisticated equipment. Those, who are interested to see what is happening there, please follow me.

A sheet-bending machine with a computerized numerical control (CNC) has appeared at the production facility of SkyWay Technologies Co. It has the force of 1,000 kilonewtons and the working width of 3 meters that allow to process metal of up to 6 mm thickness. The equipment is provided with quickly removable stamping punches and molds allowing to fix the bending length from 15 to 3,000 mm. A computer sets all the operational parameters like the arm, angle, applied force, the number of items, etc. An operator just enters data, adjusts and controls the quality of the equipment operation. The new machine will be used jointly with the laser cutter familiar to you from our previous reports. The manufactured items will be cut by patterns in the laser unit, then passed over to the pressure machine and further - to the welding or assembly section according to the technical documentation.

Production engineer Yuri Sidorenko, known to you from the previous reports, who told us about the installation of the American 5-axle milling machine HAAS, described the changes that have occurred in his section since that time.

Yuri Sidorenko: At present, we are testing 5-axle processing. The supplying Company has provided us a program. It is downloaded and we check, how the machine is operating in the 5-axle mode.

M.K.: What kind of a new equipment do we have behind my back? Please, tell us.

Y.S.: They are installing the machine from the Czech firm Bray. It is a modelling machine with a very large platten 4-m long, 2.7-m wide, 1-m high. It has 12 tools and 18,000 rpm of the spindle. A very large machine designed for processing hard wooden materials, MDF and composite materials.

M.K.: Will these materials be used to manufacture elements for frameworks of SkyWay rolling stock?

Y.S.: All the streamline elements for vehicles will be produced here. Until now we placed orders for them with contractors, therefore, the decision to buy our own equipment was taken and we will produce all these components at our facility.

M.K.: Now we know this machine perfectly. And what kind of a device is this? It is looking like a coffee machine.

Y.S.: It is the machine column Hayden-Hayden 530 supporting 5 axles. The best in the world.

M.K.: We are planning to come here again in a month so as to show you how all this equipment is operating and what it is producing. In short, how it all works. In the meantime, I invite you to sign up to our YouTube channel. Stay tuned for the news update at our official website. Support our project and everything in your life will be the best.
