SkyWay can take part in a tender for the construction of a route in Argentina

SkyWay project has already profiled itself so loudly that there remained not a single corner on our planet, from where guests would not have visited Minsk and Maryina Gorka, despite the need to travel half of the world, without exaggeration. All these words also refer to South America, which is located on the opposite side of the globe. Let us recall that in September last year the guests of EcoTechnoPark in Maryina Gorka were representatives from Brazil.

A month ago, representatives of Nueva Lima project from Peru visited SkyWay EcoTechnoPark. The use of SkyWay transport can determine the development strategy of Nueva Lima as a linear city. Its designing and life will be based on the innovative SkyWay transport system.

Seven years ago a giant deposit of hydrocarbons Vaca Muerta was discovered in Argentina. It is the second largest reservoir of shale hydrocarbons in the world. According to various estimates, they make up almost 9 trillion cubic meters of gas and 16 to 23 billion barrels of oil. The national oil and gas Company of Argentina YPF announced plans to invest USD 30 billion in this huge shale region in the next five years.

To become the center of a new shale boom, Argentina will need a huge amount of investments, technologies and professionals, in search of which Mr. Jorge Lopez, envoy of this country's business community arrived to the Belarussian office of SkyWay. The Company he represents is participating in a tender for the construction of a cargo transportation line at the cost of USD 500 million to service the deposit.

Translation of the video:

A giant deposit of unconventional hydrocarbons Vaca Muerta was discovered in the province of Neuqu?n, Argentina in November 2011. The second largest deposits of shale hydrocarbons in the world are concentrated in this formation. According to various estimates, they make up almost 9 trillion cubic meters of gas and 16 to 23 billion barrels of oil. The national oil and gas Company of Argentina YPF announced plans to invest USD 30 billion in this huge shale region in the next five years.

Experts point out that for the intended goal to become the center of the new shale boom, Argentina will need a huge amount of investments, technologies and professionals that it does not have. In the search for the latter, the business envoy Jorge Lopez arrived to the Belarussian office of SkyWay. The Company he represents is participating in a tender for the construction of a cargo transportation line worth of USD 500 million to service the deposit. This route will stretch for 800 km linking the oil field zone in Patagonia with the port of Bahia Blanca at the Atlantic Ocean coast. One of the main problems that Argentina hopes to solve with the help of SkyWay technology is a reduction in the cost of delivering the sand for pumping into the bed, as well as pipes for drilling, which are still being transported by motor-road. In the opposite direction, it is planned to use the cargo complex for the export of both oil and agricultural products.

Jorge Lopez: In Argentina, we have discovered a huge shale hydrocarbon deposit Vaka Muerta, the second largest in the world. For their extraction, we need a high-tech mode of transport to deliver special sand for a distance of 800 km. The available vehicles are very expensive. We think that with the help of SkyWay technology we will be able to carry out this haulage at low cost and with high efficiency. This will be the first stage of our cooperation.
