Visit of a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan at SkyWay EcoTechnoPark

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid his first official visit to Belarus in the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries last week. The result of the big day of negotiations in the Palace of Independence was the signing of a wide package of agreements. Thus, both States have strengthened their cooperation in the fight against terrorism and smuggling, in the development of partnership in humanitarian, scientific and educational spheres. It became obvious that Belarus and Uzbekistan are planning cooperation for years to come.

For reference: according to official data, Uzbekistan ranks fourth in the world in gold reserves and is the trading gate of the Central Asian region. American experts estimated the 10-year investment potential of this cotton region at 65 billion USD.

It is noteworthy that a significant progress has been achieved in bilateral relations during just a couple of years. The new priorities noted by the leaders of both States are as follows: increasing trade turnover and strengthening cooperation at the local level, which was the main agenda of the first Forum of Belarusian and Uzbek regions held in Minsk, where the parties have signed 26 new agreements.

In the framework of cooperation development, the developer company SkyWay Technologies Co. was visited by a delegation from the “Jade Republic" headed by the first Deputy Hokim (Governor) of Namangan Region of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Kamalov. The guests reviewed SkyWay EcoTechnoPark and Yunitskiy’s string transport technology, expressing great interest, in particular, to its environmental friendliness including the methods of soil fertility restoration developed by the company. The visit was not just of exploratory nature — it can be considered as the first concrete step towards public-private partnership in the field of innovations, which has emerged in the Fergana valley of Tamerlan’s homeland. It has the highest population density in Central Asia and, accordingly, both economic prospects and transport problems.

Anatoly Yunitskiy, creator of SkyWay technology has repeatedly emphasized the priorities in our project’s development that are currently concentrated in the Gulf region; nevertheless, the company is continuing work on promising projects, among which it would be appropriate to consider the one about which we offer to your attention a video interview given to our news service. The project was kindly described by the Head of the Uzbek delegation Ayubkhon Kamalov.
