Sketch engineering design of a self-propelled passenger carriage

The senior engineer of the Institute of mechanics for metal polymeric systems of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Yunitskiy on his own initiative, as an enthusiast, continued in off-work hours the sketch designing of a self-propelled passenger carriage with vertical arrangement of rails in a pre-stressed track structure.

The carriage is intended for traffic in the air or in a vacuum tube at 600 km/h speed.

Technical features of the carriage:

• passenger seats - 4 pcs.;
• carriage length - 9,600 mm;
• passenger cabin length - 4,350 mm;
• carriage floor length - 1,250 mm;
• carriage cabin height - 1,350 mm;
• number of wheels - 4 pcs.;
• wheel diameter - 850 mm.
