Rail car with the speed of an airplane

Anatoly Yunitskiy is creating a high-speed rail transport with a more advanced aerodynamics than an aircraft. It is well known that during high-speed movement (above 400 km/h) in the air, more than 90% of engine power is spent to overcome air resistance. Therefore, the main requirements to designing of a high-speed rail transport are those of aerodynamics. They are crucial for the fuel (energy) efficiency of the transport system as a whole.

Analysis of the main criteria on the development of high-speed traffic for such systems has also shown that not magnetic suspension, but a steel wheel proved to be more energy efficient.
