The Belarusian Council of Ministers adopted a decision to create a special Foundation "Star world" in Gomel

In February this year, the Council of Ministers of the Belarusian SSR adopted a decision to create a special Foundation "Star world" in Gomel, which is intended to finance the development of the project on the non-rocket space exploration. The Gomel Committee of cosmonautics proposed the project of a unique vehicle for consideration to the USSR Federation of cosmonautics, the Soviet Peace Committee and the Belarusian Academy of Sciences.

However, it has been already highlighted in the press, and anyone who is interested in novelties of space exploration, knows what it is. Not so long ago the author of the unique project, Chairman of the Gomel Committee of cosmonautics, the Belarusian scientist Anatoly Yunitskiy visited Kiev.

A meeting with young scientists of the city was held in the capital of the Ukraine. At this meeting it was decided to support the work of Belarusian colleagues, to participate in the development and financing of the project. In addition, a conversation with Anatoly Yunitskiy was published in the newspaper "Komsomolskoye Znamya" of May 25, 1988 under the title "Tomorrow will come very soon" (in Russian).
