The exhibition "Project of the future globe" organized by the USSR DOSAAF Committee of cosmonautics was held at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements. It reflected the general world panorama of modern global problems - problems of man, war and peace, protection of the biosphere, peaceful exploration of space and action by the international community to solve them. The exhibition presented a number of scientific and practical hypotheses and ideas related to the noosphere and cosmic perspectives of the civilization.

The author of one of these ideas, Director of the Center "Star world" Anatoly Yunitskiy from the city of Gomel proposed the program "EcoWorld". The program is a justification to the solution of global problems of mankind by transferring the Earth's industrial potential from the biosphere into space and creating a technosphere there (see the exhibition catalogue on pp. 33-35 in Russian). This program is aimed at protecting the biosphere with space means and corresponds to the solution of urgent problems of humanity's survival and development in the 21^st century. The project can be implemented only with the use of non-rocket space transport systems - the General Planetary Vehicle designed by the Belarusian inventor.
