Technological construction platform

On installing intermediate supports and string tensioning a technological platform is passed along them. It can move independently and fix its position rigidly against the supports. Using the platform, technicians consistently, span after span, install hollow body of the rail, fix it in design position, stuff it with filler, set the railhead, cross-bars and perform other work required to arrange the track structure.

All these works are easily mechanized and automated and can be run around the clock in any weather. This would ensure a high rate for in-line construction of UST (about 1,000 m per day), its low labor intensity and cost. To remove microasperities and microwaviness at work surfaces of the mounted railhead and its crosscut backlash-free joints, its grounding-away is possible over the entire length of the transport system.
