Meeting at the Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Belarus on the creation of a fundamentally new high-speed transport line

A meeting was held in the Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Belarus with the agenda: "About the participation of the Ministry of transport and communications in the implementation of the project on creating a fundamentally new high-speed transport line (NTL) by the Belarusian-German joint enterprise in the Republic of Belarus".

Present were:

• Mr. Lukashov - Minister,
• Mr. Denisevich - Head of Administration on science, technologies and investment,
• Mr. Bezugly - Deputy General Director, Research and production Association "Transtechnica",
• Mr. Yunitskiy - General Designer, NTL Neue Transportlinien GmbH (Berlin).

General Designer Anatoly Yunitskiy presented a report on the novelty of high-speed ground transport NTL, described briefly its technical features and economic efficiency in comparison with existing modes of transport and proposed to create a joint Belarusian-German venture for NTL project.

Minister Lukashov noted the relevance of the high-speed NTL in the Republic of Belarus, the feasibility for the Ministry of transport and communications to participate in the implementation of NTL project by the joint venture.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the Ministry of transport and communications of Belarus is to take part in the joint venture "Technopolis NTL" with a share in the statutory fund for the amount of USD 10,000 (5% of the statutory fund).
