Participation of "Unitsky SPC" in the first branch exhibition "YugTransExpo" in the city of Rostov-on-Don

The formal opening of the exhibition took place on October 17, 2001 in the exhibition complex of "Rostvertol". The opening ceremony was attended by the top-level officials from the following organizations:

• Ministry of Industry, Transportation and Communication of Rostov Region;
• Executive Committee of "Northern Caucasus" Association;
• Staff members of the Apparatus of Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the Southern Federal District;
• Department for Economic Development under Rostov Regional Administration;
• Associations of Cities of Russia and Ukraine;
• RF Ministry of Transportation;
• Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Rostov Region;
• "Yuzhno-Rossiisky Expocentre" joint-stock company.

A special focus of the exhibition was on the activity of specialised research institutions, advanced transportation technologies, operation of "North - South" and "West - East" transportation corridors, solution of transit problems and inter-disciplinary professional interaction.

More than 70 large-scale and leading enterprises and organizations from various regions of Russia took part in the work of the exhibition.

In the course of the exhibition the staff members of "Unitsky SPC" demonstrated to its participants and visitors a principal operational scheme of the UST used for freight and passenger transportation, showed its principal differences and advantages as compared with other existing modes of transportation, presented the building technology used for its construction, provided the information about the available projects aimed at the construction of concrete UST routes (in Moscow Region, Krasnoyarsk, Kazakhstan, Krasnodar, abroad), answered to numerous questions. In the course of the UST presentation Unitsky Company made a wide use of its technical devices, plane tables, brochures, booklets and advertising press-releases.

On the opening day a press-conference was arranged at "Unitsky SPC" exhibition stand for the representatives of various mass-media including the most popular in the Southern District TV channels, radio programmes, internet-editions, newspapers, journals.

The delegation of "Unitsky SPC" took part in the work of the seminar: "Logistics as a Method of Efficient Business Administration". After a brief presentation on the UST the seminar participants were provided with advertising materials and given answers to their questions.

Negotiations were conducted with potential UST partners and customers. Discussions arranged within the framework of the exhibition made it possible to identify the existing transportation problems of the Region. It was the general opinion that UST provides the most efficient way to the solution of transportation problems.

As a result of the exhibition "Unitsky SPC" was awarded a diploma for active promotion of home products to the southern Russian market.
