"Unitsky SPC" will take part in the International Specialised Exhibition of Urban Transportation - "CityTransExpo-2002"

At the invitation of the First Deputy Minister of Transportation of the Russian Federation Mr. Nasonov "Unitsky SPC" will take part in the International Specialised Exhibition of Urban Transportation - "CityTransExpo-2002" which is to take place at the Cultural and Exhibition Centre of "Sokolniki" from 12 to 15 February 2002.

Unitsky Company is going to demonstrate an operational model of a UST route at scale 1:15, projects of routes designed for the cities of Sochi (in Russian) and Anapa (in Russian) and for the historic city centre of Goteborg (in Russian) and alternative designs of environmentally sound freight (in Russian) routes intended for various purposes.

"Unitsky SPC" will take part in the Conference arranged within the framework of the exhibition by the Department of Urban Electric Transport and Underground of the RF Ministry of Transportation under the chairmanship of the Department Chief Mr. Derkatch. The Conference will discuss a possibility for UST to be introduced in the practice of intra-city transportation.

The exhibition "CityTransExpo-2002" is the first attempt to demonstrate the products of transportation machine-building plants, national and joint ventures, foreign firms and enterprises that are dealing with manufacturing of transportation vehicles and their completed parts and provision of services exclusively in the field of urban transportation.

The exhibition plans to arrange a wide-scale demonstration of urban transportation vehicles of all kinds, including: trolley-bus, tram, bus, underground wagons, as well as to present the most promising projects of new transportation vehicles and technologies for urban transportation as well as road and communal equipment.
