The All-Russian Research Institute for Inter-Industry Information - a Federal Informational and Analytical Center of the Defense Industry (VIMI FSUE) and Institute of Economics Karelian RC of the Russian Academy of Sciences initiated to carrying out of scientific-practical conference "Rational wildlife management: resource- and energy-reserved technologies and their metrological maintenance", devoted to questions of rational use of natural resources and nature-resource potential of territories.

The President of Unitran Foundation Dr. Anatoly Unitsky made a report "String transportation system - transportation of the 21^st century" (in Russian). Design structure and operation principles of String Transportation System (STS) are described in report. Key technical and economic indices of STS are given in comparison with other modes of transportation.
