Transition to the seventh stage of development of the SkyWay Group of Companies
The SkyWay Group of Companies announces the successful completion of the sixth stage of development.
We offer you to recall the events of the passing stage in the life of the SkyWay Group of Companies that will be remembered:
- Construction and installation works to create complexes of the test string transport systems and infrastructure are under way in EcoTechnoPark according to the schedule. By this time, intermediate supports of the urban SkyWay route are installed in the demonstration site, the contractors have completed construction of the main part of the SkyWay transport and logistics hub, combined with the terminal anchor support and the EcoTechnoPark perimeter have been enclosed with the intellectual SkyWay fencing. Preparatory works for the construction of the lightweight SkyWay route go on now.
- EcoFest was the main event of the SkyWay spring. It became an interactive show-presentation of intermediate results of the construction of the test section of innovative transport technologies.
- SkyWay officials have received an invitation to participate in the Berlin InnoTrans trade fair of transport technologies and transport systems. It is one of the most significant events in the world of transport determining the main development trends in this industry for decades to come. In September 2016 at InnoTrans, the latest SkyWay development - unibike - will be presented to the world public.
- And the most important event was that at the sixth stage of development, we have finally obtained the support of the Russian Federation. On February 11, 2016, the Expert Council under the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation acknowledged the SkyWay string technology as innovative. Its functioning model is now under construction on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. After just a month and a half, on March 25, 2016, the Working group adopted the decision: "to mark out the prospects and to support the transport technology with the use of track infrastructure arranged on supports. To note the need for mandatory certification of composite technological elements of the track infrastructure, that are included in the specified transport technology. The Working group also decided to re-examine the technology after testing the prototype". This means that after the testing and certification, the SkyWay technology will have all chances to be included in the List of innovative technologies recommended for public procurement. The government support may significantly facilitate the process of introducing the technology to the market, to allow, in the shortest time, to repay the expenditures for its development and construction of test sections, and, consequently, to profit from its sale. This event is in fact the evidence of Russia's readiness, with its serious need for the development and improvement of transport communication systems, to act as the SkyWay technology's customer.
The next stage will begin on June 1, 2016. As always, the stage change will be followed by a reduction of the discount and, respectively, the investment conditions for the newly arrived investors of the project will become less attractive.
