Acceptance of anchor supports for lightweight track structure

In an interview the Chief engineering technologist of SkyWay Technologies Co. Victor Rudkovskiy told the details of the visit to the company "Minsk plant of technological metal structures" manufacturing anchor supports for the lightweight SkyWay urban track. The company is a structural subdivision of JSC "PromTechMontazh". Its Mogilev branch also participates in the production of metal structures for EcoTechnoPark tracks.

The visit of the Chief engineering technologist had the purpose to control acceptance of the finished products. Earlier, before the acceptance procedure, the specialists of SkyWay Technologies Co. have already visited this enterprise, where they carried out necessary measurements of configuration, main parameters of the manufactured structures and also controlled intermediate stages of assembly.

Now all the necessary adjustments are made and anchor supports are completely prepared for transportation to EcoTechnoPark, where their installation is planned in the near future.

M.K.: Please tell us what we are doing here today.

V.R.: Today we do the acceptance of anchor supports for our lightweight track structure. It is not our first visit to this plant. We came here previously for control measurement of basic parameters, configuration, quality of material and intermediate assembly stages. We had some corrections regarding welding joints and accuracy in manufacture of finished metal structures. Today we are doing control acceptance and check removal of these nonconformities and readiness of the products for shipment planned for tomorrow.

M.K.: Are you going to transport them to EcoTechnoPark tomorrow?

V.R.: Shipment is planned for tomorrow, if we receive permit for transportation of oversize cargo. This issue is in process now. If it is solved positively, it will be shipped to our construction site in Mariyna Gorka for installation at EcoTechnoPark. We shall do it tomorrow or some of these days.

M.K.: Are all the four supports checked, accepted and ready for shipment?

V.R.: We have accepted two painted and finished supports. The other two are also painted but they are drying now, therefore we have accepted them visually. Their configuration was checked earlier, there are no problems with them.
