The project design organization of SkyWay took part in the tenth jubilee exhibition "Transport of Russia" that worked in Moscow from November 30 to December 2, 2016. It was one of the events held in the framework of "Transport week" that is an annual event organized by the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation highlighting the major trends in the market of transport services.

Because of the fact that the industrial samples of the rolling stock are undergoing tests at EcoTechnoPark, the SkyWay display stand presents models of suspended and mounted string transport at 1:10 scale.

On the first day of the SkyWay team's work at the forum "Transport of Russia" the display stand of SkyWay technology was visited by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov and President of the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management Andrey Sharonov. Dear guests, familiar with the technology for long time, learned about the progress in the implementation of the project achieved during the last years with pleasure and expressed readiness to contribute to its further advancement.

The Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov and Deputy Head of the Federal Railway Transport Agency Igor Mitsuk became visitors to the SkyWay display stand at the exhibition "Transport of Russia". Officials reviewed the current stage of development of the technology and its potential to reduce the level of emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, increasing speeds, improving safety, comfort and cost of transportation. The authorities reacted with approval to the SkyWay developments and plans. In particular, the Transport Minister has expressed interest in relation to the construction cost of the SkyWay transport systems and announced the intention to present the string transport to the Governor of Moscow region.

During the exhibition, in addition to the above, guests of the SkyWay display stand were: the first Deputy Chairman of Ulyanovsk region Government A. Tyurin, the General Director of Electric Transport Management in the urban district of Ufa A. Fazlyev, Vice-President of the International Association of urban electric transport Enterprises S. Zakyrov, the regional Director on business development at Nokia Co. Armen Narinyan and many others.

Representatives of the media also paid great attention to the SkyWay stand. Several TV channels and relevant publications intend to publish articles and release reports about the string transport, which is currently undergoes operation trials at EcoTechnoPark site.

Examining the current stage of the technology development, Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov stressed that what he saw "was a truly innovative approach" and the SkyWay transport represented a potential solution to a number of environmental and transportation problems. "It inspires great respect to you, to your persistence. At the same time, it gives confidence these technologies will finally come to the Russian Federation in the near future," said the official.
