EcoTechnoPark: start of performance trials with unitruck

Comprehensive performance trials of the sagging section at the lightweight track structure and unitruck have started at SkyWay testing and certification center EcoTechnoPark. The purpose is to check theoretically calculated possibilities to use passenger lines for freight transportation on distances above 500 km. SkyWay freight rolling stock, or unitruck is made based on suspended urban passenger unibuses.

At present we have developed a special range of vehicles docking with marine, railway and automobile containers for liquid, bulky, packaged and special cargo. Unitrucks for perishable cargo are equipped with a temperature-control and air conditioning system. Those designed for hazardous goods have a multilayer high-strength casing. The speed is up to 150 km/h, the performance of the complex is above 200 million ton/year, maximum overcomable longitudinal gradient is up to 30%.

The string rail allows to combine high-speed intercity, urban and freight traffic. In addition, inside the string rail it is possible to arrange communication lines, power supply lines, wi-fi, etc. in such a way that laying of a track to any particular place on the planet will automatically provide comprehensive development of an area with the entire required relevant infrastructure, as well as maintain the fertile soil for farming.

Obviously, surpassing all the existing types of roads in key features, SkyWay is at least not inferior to them in terms of versatility.
