On July 11, 2017 design bureaus, production facilities of SkyWay Technologies Co. in Minsk and SkyWay EcoTechnoPark near the town of Maryina Gorka was visited by a delegation from Georgia, which included representatives of the authorities and business community: Chairman of Batumi municipality Mr. Lasha Sirabidze, Head of the Committee for Finances and economic development of this local self-government Mr. Tengiz Apshazava and David Gatenadze, Executive Director of one of the business unions of Tbilisi. The Chief of targeted projects Department of SkyWay Technologies Co. Kiryl Badulin headed the Belarusian delegation.

The guests appreciated what they had seen and expressed great interest in SkyWay technology, which should help to solve transport problems, literally paralyzing the region especially in the height of the season, as well as contribute to its further development. The sides also discussed plans to decongest the coastal zone by moving out cargo transportation beyond its limits, to connect residents of the Northern and Western regions of Georgia with direct routes of Yunitskiy's SkyWay transport, because now their residents are forced to go around a high mountain ridge through the country's capital, Tbilisi. They also expressed intention to build a line Ureki-Kobuleti-Batumi to connect the most popular resort towns in the region. As you can guess by the composition of the delegation, they also discussed the issues of financing the planned projects, which would involve a private-public partnership.
