SkyWay: three-year investigation crumbled in Lithuania. EcoTechnoPark is already operating successfully in Belarus On June 06, 2017, the Vilnius Regional Prosecutor's Office took the decision to discontinue pre-trial investigation aimed at detecting signs of illegal financial activities in the work of organizations created by Anatoly Yunitskiy on the territory of Lithuania. The decision of the Executive body recognized that no evidence confirming suspicions in unfair practices of the management of companies that intended to create a demonstration and certification center of string transport on the territory of Lithuania, had been collected during the investigation. All applied temporary restrictions of the ownership rights to the funds, securities and other property on the accounts of these organizations have been removed. It could be said that the investigation, which lasted nearly three years, has ended in nothing. However, this formulation is not correct. By its actions the Lithuanian legal system has not only put into question its own competence, but also caused serious damage to the business reputation of the engineer, scientist and businessman Anatoly Yunitskiy and to SkyWay brand. Such actions by the authorities or anyone else should not remain unpunished. A counter-suit on compensation of the damage inflicted to him and investors of the project headed by him and loss of profits will be filed from Yunitskiy's side. Meanwhile, the second EcoFest was held in EcoTechnoPark. Operational and industrial samples of rolling stock were demonstrated One of the reasons for starting a criminal investigation in Lithuania was a series of publications on one of the local portals. Such publications, aimed at a wide audience, usually feed information according to the following scheme: the editors learned, decided to find out, what we learned came as a shock, experts comment, scandal, intrigues, exposure and inevitable "where is our government?" in the comments. The most important thing here is to arouse interest from the greatest possible range of readers. The hotter the material is, the better. This is determined by skepticism and a superficial view of things inherent in some of the media. The best push-back to critics is a real transport. In addition to unibike and unibus we have already shown a two-car 48-passenger double-rail unibus, a cargo unitruck in motion and a new sagging track structure The nature is very reasonable and everything is balanced in it, comments Lithuanian and Belarusian publications Anatoly Yunitskiy. I am glad that over time, along with the progress in SkyWay project, the yellow press writes about us less dirt. For example, a couple of years ago TUT.BY wrote about me almost as about an international swindler, on whom a criminal case was opened and who was expelled from Lithuania. I left Lithuania myself, and when the criminal case finally came to the court a few months ago, it crumbled there, as all the charges were fabricated and based on lies, not a single real evidence was found. Not a single one. In a recent article, the same TUT.BY described me not as an alleged swindler, but as a "person with a controversial reputation". I agree with this ? all kinds of outcasts who hate Belarus don't really like me, Belarusians and everything that surrounds them. However, there are also those who understand and like me, in particular, 300 thousand investors from 237 countries and regions (more countries than in the UN!). Time breaks up the arguments of skeptics one by one. The forecasts of expenses for infrastructure construction from the world's leading experts say that the authorized capital of SkyWay is quite adequate and even modest taking into account the scope of activities and the prospects for the breakthrough transport and infrastructure technology. The growth in the cost of investment shares for three years provided the increase in real market value of the group of companies created by Anatoly Yunitskiy by USD 3 billion. Investment amounts and professional competence of investors of the project are steadily increasing and coming out to a higher level. Or maybe it's for the better, because 320 jobs in Skyway Technologies Co. are now in Belarus, but not somewhere else? The technology has proven its viability on-site at the demonstration and certification center - SkyWay EcoTechnoPark in the town of Maryina Gorka in Belarus, where we have built the first innovative transport and infrastructure complexes that have no analogues in the world. The amount of work done over three years has no world analogues either by the ratio of spent funds and created product that is more than a sufficient proof of the seriousness of intensions of the group of companies. Thousands of people from dozens of countries, who visited the SkyWày demonstration and certification center in EcoFest 2017, were able to see all this firsthand. We must pay tribute to Belarusian authorities, who did not yield to provocative attacks against SkyWay. Due to it, the territory of the country is hosting a rapidly developing unique project with enormous scientific, technological and investment potential. The authorities of Lithuania that have succumbed to provocations from scandal-chasing journalists can now only regret about what they have lost. The tone of
publications (in Lithuanian) in this country is changing. There appeared even a note of regret - EcoTechnoPark was not built in Siauliai. Probably this is the way it should have been. Thanks to the clerks of the European Republic who got trapped, the demonstration and certification center of SkyWay string transport is being built in Yunitskiy's homeland, in Belarus, in Maryina Gorka. |

That's the way they "judged" SkyWay in Lithuania - just paperwork continued for THREE year and in the end just "no data had been collected". The pre-trial investigation is discontinued. Once again. Three years. No data. Curtain down. Such is a cautionary tale about a Belarusian born in the heart of the future Chernobyl zone. Under the Soviet regime, all kinds of outcasts showed vigilance and wrote denunciations to NKVD (secret police), and a group of Yunitskiy's ancestors was shot in Polesye in the thirties. Today Internet portals write hype stories for traffic, and in the end, the court does not get any evidence during three years (no way of making a Belarusian like a "Russian" spy) and it casts a shadow on the judicial system of the new member-country of the EU. Meanwhile, the production facility is successfully relocating to Belarus. And for whom is it better in the end? Evgeny Petrov |
