SkyWay at the forum "Intelligent Transport Systems of Russia": atmosphere and results

The forum "Intellectual Transport Systems of Russia" is over in Moscow. It was held on 27-28 September 2017 at the "President-hotel". The event took place with the official support and participation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia. The objectives of the Forum were summing up the interim results of the joint work carried out during 2016-2017, identifying key challenges and barriers to intersectoral and interdepartmental interaction, as well as developing an action plan for the near future.

A key subject of the Forum was the transport infrastructure in the digital economy, the so-called Digital Age of Transport, however, the public also appreciated fundamental innovations that would be able to change the transport industry as a whole. On the first day of the Forum, the SkyWay display stand was visited by the Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov, who received an invitation to visit EcoTechnoPark.

On the same day, it became known about closing-down of "VIM-Avia", one of the Russian airline Companies. Funny coincidence, once again hinting at the need for structural reforms in the "classical" transport. At the request of the organizers, Kiryl Badulin, Head of Targeted Projects Department of the SkyWay project designing organization has summed up the results of the visit to the Forum:
