Kiryl Badulin on the development of SkyWay in 2017

Interview with the Head of targeted projects at SkyWay Technologies Co. Kiryl Badulin, who summarizes the activities of SkyWay project designing organization for the expiring 2017.

During the conversation with the Head of SkyWay news service Kiryl Badulin will talk about the international direction of development at the project designing organization, exhibition activities, development of structural units and about the immediate prospects and priority directions of targeted construction of SkyWay transportation systems.

"... for the year 2017 we have signed about 20 various agreements. About 50 foreign delegations visited SkyWay Technologies Co. We are also working with several dozens of Companies from various regions of the world. Now we have reached the stage when we are working over not all the projects, but selecting those of high priority," - pointed out Kiryl.

Mikhail Kirichenko: Hallo! Here is Mikhail Kirichenko with you. You are watching SkyWay news, where we tell you about the developments and implementation of breakthrough transport technologies. It's time to summarize the results of the expiring 2017 and our today's talk partner is Kiryl Badulin, Head of targeted projects Department. We can say he is at the tip of the spear, because the result of any Company's activity is making profit or, at least, approaching it. Well, hallo Kiryl! Was I right to say all that?

Kiryl Badulin: Absolutely. Hallo!

M.K.: Certainly, the most interesting aspect of our Company's activities in the passing year was the development of the international direction. Please, describe it briefly and sum up the results of this work.

K.B.: In fact, the results are quite substantial. Say, if in 2016 we pointed our efforts to the Australian market and were just examining the Indian market, in 1917, we have taken a strategic step towards the Asian market. The estimate of investments into transport infrastructure for 2014-2020 shows that in Asia they are about 5 times more than in other regions of the world. And this diagram proves that their transport investment requirements till 2025 is about 10 times more than in other regions.

M.K.: Yes, tenfold more.

K.B.: That's why we choose the most interesting markets. In addition, we continue to cooperate with the United Arab Emirates that are recognized as the leader in introducing various innovations including transport services. This is the country that organically accepts the idea of the global network of routes TransNet.

M.K.: How did we enter and stay in this region? Was it by means of International forums, trade fairs or exhibitions?

K.B.: Certainly, participation in exhibitions was one of the most important instruments to promote in all these regions. For instance, if in 2016 we participated in only one International exhibition InnoTrans in Berlin, then in 2017 we were present at two exhibitions in India and one exhibition in Indonesia. It also helped to find new targeted projects and new partners. We have set up our regional affiliate Companies in these countries: in India, Australia and Indonesia.

M.K.: Speaking about this participation you certainly meant SkyWay Technologies Co., because, as I know, our partnership Companies took part in other exhibitions in 2016-2017: in Australia, Italy ...

K.B.: Right you are. However, I meant the partner Companies that operate in particular regions. Moreover, I can add that in 2017 these Companies participated themselves in the exhibitions representing our technologies, in particular, SkyWay Transport Australia and SkyWay Technologies Indonesia.

M.K.: Thank you. Everything is clear as regards the regions. Now could you clarify regarding the directions of activities? Maybe, something new appeared in the Company's work during this expiring year.

K.B.: As regards the directions of targeted projects the finding for us is the trend of container trafficking. It turned out that this trend meets the demand in Asia, Middle East and actually everywhere around the world.

M.K.: There's no secret, Kiryl, that the volume of work for our Company is constantly growing, the staff is increasing. We have already above 400 employees. How did it affect your Department? Tell us about its history and prospects for development.

K.B.: Our Department goes in the trend of the Company's development. It was set up as a separate unit in late 2016. And at the moment, the number of our employees has increased twice. As for the volume of work, well, when I was the only person in that sphere, I have prepared about 25 projects, proposals and presentations for 6 months in 2015. Now the Department does this volume within a month.

M.K.: To finish the interview, we would like to get some figures. For instance, how many agreements have been signed? How many countries and Companies are in collaboration with us? Something more tangible.

K.B.: Well, the results are quite interesting. I have recently made a summary and saw that for the year 2017 we have signed about 20 various agreements.
