SkyWay: innovations in action

A Belarusian industrial forum opened in Minsk on May 29, 2018. The forum aims to assist enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus in solving the issues of expanding the output of high-tech competitive products for sale in the national and foreign markets, introduction of new high-tech technologies and equipment, development of international cooperation, encouragement of investment into the industry of the Republic.

The forum included a breakout session of the 21^st International Scientific-Practical Symposium "Technologies. Equipment. Quality", which was attended by Deputy General Director for organizational development of SkyWay Technologies Co. Alexey Voylenko, who addressed the audience with a report on "Experience to introduce technologies of industry 4.0 based on 3D Experience platform".

SkyWay Technologies Co. is one of the few companies in the Republic of Belarus using 3D Experience platform for the development and production of unique transport systems. 3D Experience allows engineers and designers of the Company to work over rolling stock models and infrastructure in a unified digital environment, to prepare technical documentation needed for their production launch, as well as to make required changes and adjustments to the already finished project.

Using this platform, it is possible to combine the main processes - project designing, production and operation of the final product - into one system, which, in its turn, helps to improve the quality of products, as well as to reduce their cost.

"We have top-notch professionals in the Company, however, for a long time, before the introduction of the 3D-Experience platform, each of them worked pretty much isolated, as a musician playing a tune alone. The platform helped to establish an effective interaction between all departments in real-time mode. If we continue the metaphor, now our experts play in the orchestra", - described the interim results of implementing 3D-Experience Alexey Voylenko.
