One of the major information portals in the United States reporting on innovations, high technologies and the environment, published an article, in which it analyzes SkyWay technology as an alternative system for the development of the UAE's economy.

The current relevant trend for the Arab Emirates is the search for new technologies and infrastructure projects that can diversify the country's sources of income and gradually reduce the share of raw materials in the formation of GDP.

One of these trends for development is the transport infrastructure, for the improvement of which the UAE government plans to allocate several billion US dollars in the near future. In this regard, the UAE's transport market is becoming very attractive for major companies and innovative startups from around the world.

According to the author of the article, Skyway transport technology has all the chances to occupy its niche in the cargo and passenger transportation market of the Middle East region, because, unlike its closest competitors - the Hyperloop project - it can offer now ready-made infrastructure solutions that can effectively solve a wide range of tasks - from urban passenger to long-distance cargo transportation and construction of port transport complexes. Moreover, the cost of construction and the total material consumption of such facilities will be much lower than that of competitors, with a high level of their efficiency and versatility.

SkyWay transport differs from some currently popular large-scale infrastructure ideas, such as Hyperloop, by minimalism of engineering and design. The simple and low-cost system is capable of work at high-efficiency levels through the use of a combination of proven technologies. There is nothing superfluous in the design: pre-stressed infrastructure structures reduce material consumption without significant complications for construction, and aerodynamic electric rolling stock does not require significant financial expenses to make it possible to reach required speeds", points out the author of the article, in particular.
