In October 2018, SkyWay investors received their first payments, which relieved some tension from critics, who often criticized the way to attract investment to the project. The chosen course of development and an open approval from the United Arab Emirates hit home and removed most of the remaining objections.

The journalists of Investtalk.ru portal collected the available info and made a detailed review on SkyWay project from the investors' viewpoint. Here are some quotes from the article (in Russian):

"... it is possible to evaluate SkyWay's success in the field of international development by indirect features. This is proved by the recent campaign "Reinvestment and buyback", under which the first 5,000 investors were able to sell a part of previously acquired investment shares in the amount of up to $ 1,000. Another, more powerful sign of successful development is the statement by the CEO of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) about allocating by Dubai's government 19% of the Emirate's annual budget to his Agency for the development of new transport projects."

"SkyWay project managed to develop literally in 4 years from an unobtrusive investment startup to a serious transport Company with its own engineering school and production testing base. [...] And this means that more than serious prospects are opening up to SkyWay technology. As, however, to its investors, who managed to determine correctly the object for their own investments at the right time," the portal's post reads.

Another online investment portal, InVenture, also mentioned SkyWay's achievements in the international arena:

"The success of SkyWay project is also observed in the international development direction: in February 2019, at the World Government Summit in the UAE, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority announced the selection of SkyWay technology as an alternative to developing local transport infrastructure. Prior to it, this new mode of transport was presented to Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, who shared his impressions of the presentation on his Twitter page".
