Memorandum on acquisition of exclusive rights to know-how
“High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels”

This Memorandum ascertains that the owner of the exclusive (property) rights to the technology and production (know-how) secrets “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels” is the author, developer, General designer and owner of the know-how Anatoly Yunitskiy, citizen of the Republic of Belarus, born on April 16, 1949, place of birth: Kryuki village, Bragin district, Gomel region, Republic of Belarus.

The priority of this Memorandum is defined by the date of carrying out blowdowns to determine the total aerodynamic features of the model of a high-speed vehicle in a great wind tunnel at the state-owned unitary enterprise Krylov State Research Center, St. Petersburg, — 05 July 2017.

The vehicle manufactured with the technology of know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels”, is a transport module designed for intercity and international transportation of passengers (cargo) at distances up to 10 thousand km. Due to the movement of high speed transport above ground along a special string-rail overpass, aerodynamics is optimized, speed increases, safety and rational use of land and resources are ensured, damage to the environment caused by transport is minimized.

The main features of vehicles produced using know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels”:

  • cruising speed — 500 km/h;
  • maximum longitudinal track gradient — up to 15%;
  • capacity of a single vehicle — from 1 to 50 people and more;
  • maximum number of vehicles in a coupling — up to 20 pcs.;
  • performance — up to 50 000 passengers/hour and more (in both ways);
  • minimum interval between couplings (trains) is 30 seconds.

The movement of high-speed transport is carried out with the use of steel wheels, and high speed is provided by a special design of a string-rail overpass, streamlined shape of the vehicle and, accordingly, its aerodynamic qualities.

Competitive advantages of the transport produced with the use of know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels” are as follows:

  • low prime cost of construction and transport services;
  • low power consumption;
  • complete automation;
  • the highest level of safety;
  • high speed performance and low maintenance cost;
  • use of renewable energy sources;
  • minimization of harmful impacts on human and natural environment;
  • saving time and cost for passengers;
  • short payback period.

The global mission of SkyWay high-speed transport is to connect local urban networks into one large, global system. The current cruising speed of innovative transport (up to 500 km/h) will grow in the future. And in order not to disturb the citizens, large transport hubs of high-speed transport will be located outside the city limits, and passengers will pass the “last mile” — distance to the house threshold — at a lower speed or with a transfer to city modules.

In the course of work on the creation and development of high-speed SkyWay transport technologies using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels since 1977, engineer Anatoly Yunitskiy has developed the following fundamentally new:

  • exceptionally good aerodynamic features of vehicles close to the theoretical limit — drag coefficient Cx = 0.072 (blowdown of less ergonomic ideal vehicle gave an even more unique value of this coefficient — Cx = 0.05). This indicator became possible due to the arrangement of the track structure above the ground and the exclusion of a continuous railway bed, which eliminates the main problem of high-speed transport — airfoil effect; in addition, due to the development of the know-how on innovative streamlined shape of the vehicle by the author;

  • rolling pairs “steel wheel — steel rail” in the electric rail car created by the author in comparison with the classical designs of pneumatic wheels consisting of an elastic rubber-metal-fabric shell mounted on the disk rim. The use of this design allows to achieve an efficiency factor of more than 99.8%;

  • justification of economic efficiency in the use of know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels” in the context of saving fuel resources in comparison to existing analogues with the most similar features in speed and cargo-passenger capacity;

  • economic, social, financial, resource and philosophical aspects to justify the efficiency of using know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels”;

  • miscellaneous.

Statistics on demand for passenger and cargo traffic reflects the constant growth of this indicator: passenger traffic is projected to grow to 122 trillion passenger-kilometers by 2050 (an increase by 362% compared to 2015) and 1,055 ton-kilometers of freight traffic by 2050 (an increase by 176% compared to 2015). It is planned to fill a significant niche of the emerging global demand with innovative SkyWay transport solutions, including vehicles manufactured using know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels”. In the near future high-speed SkyWay transport will stimulate social and economic development. It will increase mobility, accelerate trade turnover, serve as a basis for the development and expansion of the energy and information network, while not disturbing the ecology of the territories on which it will be laid.

In order to ensure confidentiality of productional, technical, economic, organizational information, results of intellectual research in scientific-technical sphere and data on methods to perform professional activities that make up know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels” Anatoly Yunitskiy has undertaken since 05 July 2017 legal, organisational, technical and other measures, i.e. the trade secret mode is introduced.

Based on articles 982, 1010 and 1011 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus, the author and owner of know-how “High-speed SkyWay transport using aerodynamic shapes and steel wheels” Anatoly Yunitskiy owns personal non-property and property rights, as well as the right to protect the know-how from illegal use.
