SkyWay uniсar is heading to Sharjah

Unicar U4-431-01 (unicar in tropical version) has successfully passed a complex of running tests at EcoTechnoPark and is getting ready to be shipped to Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, UAE. The acceptance of the vehicle was personally conducted by Anatoly Yunitskiy, SkyWay General designer.

This model of SkyWay rolling stock was designed specifically for operation under the climatic conditions of the Middle East. Unlike its predecessor, this vehicle is equipped with a double set of main accumulators to increase the power reserve, an improved cooling system and a double microclimate system for passengers. It also has a cabin in VIP version.

As a reminder, SkyWay Innovation Center in Sharjah (SWIC) is a research and production cluster that will become an advance outpost of SkyWay Group of Companies when entering the market of the Middle East and Asia — the most promising direction today. The Center will display urban and freight transport complexes of all types: mounted and suspended, monorail and bi-rail, with a flexible, semi-rigid and rigid track structures, fundamentally updated and improved.

SWIC will test and certify new vehicles and infrastructure solutions, as well as establish its own research laboratories and scientific-technical base for the further development of the technology. In the future, the Center should become part of the infrastructure of SRTIP — Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, of which it is a part.
