A grand opening of a new building was held on the territory of the special SkyWay design and technology Bureau with a pilot production. It will house a modernized mechanical assembly section for SkyWay rolling stock and other elements of string transport complexes. As part of the opening ceremony, the honor to cut the red ribbon at the entrance to the new building was granted to Nadezhda Kosareva, CEO, Skyway Technologies Co., and Alexey Savin, Deputy General Director for production. SkyWay General designer Anatoly Yunitskiy could not attend the event, as he was on another business trip to the UAE.

The new workshop, combined with the administrative building, has a total area of about 1200 m². It has a supporting crane beam with 10-ton capacity for the entire width of the span, as well as a warehouse with separate gates. In the near future, the existing assembly section will be moved over here. New mechanical processing equipment will be deployed on its site.

This facility will allow to adapt production processes to the current needs of the engineering company-developer of SkyWay in a short time: arrangement of small-scale production of metal structures, SkyWay rolling stock and components to it to ensure infrastructure projects in the Middle East region, primarily in the United Arab Emirates.
