The project to create Yunitskiy’s SkyWay transport is coming close to its commercial implementation. To this end, the Company — developer of the technology expands its production facilities — in September this year, a new production building was commissioned, the construction of another large plant in the Free Economic Zone “Minsk” continues. However, in order to pass over from pilot to mass production, it is also necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply of needed raw materials and components, which requires support of world leaders in relevant industries.

Work in this direction continues, and on October 8, Anatoly Yunitskiy, General designer of SkyWay Technologies Co., held talks with one of these companies. The creator of SkyWay technology introduced EcoTechnoPark to representatives of the Belgian company N. V. Bekaert S. A. After that the guests visited the rolling stock production facility in Shabany, completing the business meeting with a fruitful discussion of technical issues at the Minsk office of SkyWay transport developer.

For reference: Bekaert is one of the largest manufacturer of steel wire and metal products with a special coating. Presently, Bekaert’s metal cord is used in every third car tire. The headquarters is located in Belgium, but the activities are carried out in 45 countries. This international company employs 29,000 people. In 2018, sales of N. V. Bekaert S. A. amounted to 5.1 billion EUR.
