Reporter.ru: SkyWay — a fundamentally new transportation system

The Internet informational edition "Reporter" has released an article (in Russian) about SkyWay transport describing the benefits of the innovative transport system designed by the Belarusian engineer Anatoly Yunitskiy. The advantages of string transport include low energy consumption, minimal impact on the environment, low material consumption, high strength of string overpasses.

The author has also pointed out the economic effect from the introduction of intelligent control systems that ensure safety of passengers and high passenger traffic due to the arrangement of rolling stock movement: virtual coupling, short intervals in motion, communication between running trains.

“The unibus is controlled by an intelligent system that continuously reads and analyzes the situation inside and outside the module. This technology makes it possible to completely eliminate the human factor and reduce the interval of movement between capsules to 20—25 seconds.”
