Meeting of specialists from Unitsky String Technologies Co., Dassault Systèmes and IGA Technologies

Last week, a two-day working meeting of specialists from Unitsky String Technologies Co, Dassault Systèmes and IGA Technologies took place in Minsk. Dassault Systèmes experts demonstrated the capabilities of the Dassault Digital Simulation (Simulia) tool to carry out calculations and assess the impact of the environment (wind, precipitation, temperature, atmospheric pressure) on all elements of the string transport complexes, including rolling stock and track structure. Such a software module for realistic modeling allows to save money and time on field tests in climatic chambers and on testing grounds.

At the meeting, there was formed a roadmap for establishing two-channel information exchange between the existing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and the 3DExperience platform. In particular, there was being discussed the customization of the specifications' transfer of purchased products.

Experts from Dassault Systèmes suggested that Unitsky String Technologies Co. should expand the toolbar for operational production planning. Within the framework of the forthcoming automation of business processes, the production audit of Dassault Systèmes' experts and technical partners of PROF-IT company was organized at the production site of Unitsky String Technologies Co. Based on its results, there will be prepared a detailed program for the optimization of production and technological processes in the company.
