EcoTechnoPark: unibike on rigid rail

Test runs of unibike on the rigid rail were held at the acceptance tests with subsequent certification of the first samples of SkyWay rolling stock that are taking place at EcoTechnoPark now.

EcoTechnoPark: unibike on rigid rail

Prior to this, the most compact type of rolling stock - unibike - was tried on flexible and semi-rigid rails. The difference between various types of string rails was in the first place in the speed that rolling stock would be able to accelerate on them. A continuous flexible track structure, or flexible rail, can provide speed up to 150 km/h. Semi-rigid solid structure, or semi-rigid rail, - up to 250 km/h, and a rigid rail, or a truss, - up to 500 km/h.

Rolling stock of string transport is designed taking into account the possibility of motion on any of the track structure designs depending on the necessity.
