Talks on the final stage of SkyWay overpass construction

Engineers of Skyway Technologies Co. held a meeting with experts of the company specializing in the development, production and improvement of technologies, components and equipment for pre-stressed monolithic structures of reinforced concrete. This company has extensive experience in the application of pre-stressing on more than 100 new and reconstructed bridges and viaducts, including:

• the circular route in the seaside recreation zone (Kaliningrad Oblast);
• the bridge on the Russky Island;
• at Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant II and others.

The parties discussed at the meeting the possibility of using experience, original designs and equipment of the company as part of EcoTechnoPark construction, specifically: in developing methods of pushing a steel core through the body frame of a string rail and its subsequent tensioning (anchoring).

According to a representative of Skyway Technologies Co., "practical developments available in the company's background can be very useful for the implementation of a number of challenges facing us at the final stage of building the SkyWay urban route overpass in EcoTechnoPark. In many aspects, the cooperation in the framework of the project seems promising and mutually beneficial.
