General Planetary Vehicle as a chance to save the planet Everything seems to suggest that the epoch of the outer space breakup has already occurred. If we have become accustomed to the reports that startups in Silicon Valley have long been in the race of developments on space exploration, news from the U.S. President's office on this subject sound, at least, unusual. It seems that the public conscience is getting closer to the moment when it will be able to adequately perceive the project of the General Planetary Vehicle (GPV), but the terminology is limping. Now, it turns out that there is a Private space (private or "new" space - a place that we, humans, explore and where we do business) and a Deep space - "remote", unexplored space. The latest publications of the world media (e.g. Politico) report on the understanding of space exploration program by the Administration of the new U.S. President. On top of everything else, the understanding includes an "active and economically realistic" three-year program of presence on the Moon, construction of private space stations and reorientation of NASA tasks towards "a wide scope of work on economic evaluation of outer space". Its main difference from the original values of SkyWay is an aggressive commercial thinking in the matter that is primarily vital for the population of the planet Earth. It seems, even if so, but we will begin to explore and develop it. However, historical experience shows that nothing good can be built on such grounds and there is no guarantee that the private interest will not pollute the outer space, as it had already contaminated the Earth. Let us recall that SpaceWay, the program of non-rocket space exploration based on the project of General Planetary Vehicle by the scientist and inventor Anatoly Yunitskiy implies the transition of human civilization to the level of development, at which the entire industry will be brought out beyond the biosphere - into the near space. The implementation of this program will allow to prevent the ecological disaster awaiting the planet if the current pace of industrialization and industrial human activities continue. Therefore, the task of bringing technologically advanced parts of our civilization out into the near space is, primarily, the only true way of civilization development and salvation from a man-made disaster, and only after that, it is a part of economic strategy and a tool to enrichment. The new strategy of one of the world powers is based on a competent theory and the President's applied experience in business and necessity of creating jobs. Only one trial step of the White House towards searching new leaders of space industry gave impetus to the start of struggle between the regular participants of the market of services in this area and the oligarchs from the active generation of technocracy. The latter have fantastic contributions to non-government enterprises engaged in space exploration. "The fighting will be fierce," said former Republican Mr. Walker, the author of the space exploration strategy in the framework of Donald Trump's campaign. "The stakes are high - billions. The professional community has long been aware that innovative projects are implemented outside of NASA. Now it has become clear to all people." However, do we need a battle in the course of saving our common home? And wouldn't the competition in this area lead to an early coming of the disaster predicted by Yunitskiy? Up until now, even during the cold war, the outer space remained mostly a neutral space. Cooperation in the framework of exploring the outer space was one of the cornerstones of humanistic development. The first space station was called "Mir" ("Peace"). Do they propose us a war now with all the severe attendant circumstances, such as lies, devaluation of human labor, populism? Why, for example, should we fly to Mars, when the Earth still has enough areas with more friendly conditions that are easier to explore and develop: deserts, Arctic Regions? Meanwhile, the idea of colonizing the orange planet is quite popular. So what? The space is now Private, which means any millionaire can implement any of his fantasies in it. Even if these fantasies have nothing to do with the common sense. The use of the term "near space" instead of the American "Private space" emphasizes one important difference in understanding. The concept of the "near" space has a special mood - perception of the planet and its environment as something common belonging to all. However, new trends and the new rhetoric from the people in power say that the humanity is moving in the direction of the other, commercialized, understanding of the outer space. The era of cosmism comes into its own and there is no doubt that the traffic on the route "Earth - Orbit - Earth" will amount eventually to billions of tons of freight per year. It is also clear that the rocket-type communication will not be able to compete in economic and environmental performance with the SkyWay string transport. In the history of rocket-type space exploration, no more than 500 tons of cargo were delivered to the orbit annually. Up to 500 tons per year at a distance of 300 km can be transported by a horse with a good cart. Naturally, these "gold" carts would not manage servicing the multi-billion planet - it is insanely expensive and, in the case of rockets, incredibly harmful to the environment. The only method to ensure the needs of human activity in the near space is a widespread introduction of the General Planetary Vehicle. The General Planetary Vehicle is the innovation, which allows to transport cargo along the Equatorial orbits of different sizes without the use of jet engines. During the GPV operation, the position of its center of mass does not change its location in space. Therefore, this unique solution can apply the environmentally friendly "principle of Baron Munchausen" for access to space. The space exploration has already begun, as Yunitskiy's scientific works predicted, - "The Need for space industrialization" (in Russian) from the book "String transport systems: on Earth and in space", which we recommend to study thoroughly or reread. Implementation of the program SpaceWay - "Cosmic path" - will ensure the transition of the earth civilization to a new stage of development. We will become a space civilization with the industries located outside the biosphere. We have everything we need to survive: finances, metal with concrete, energy capacities and the ability to reduce the cost of geospace transportation. However, the main thing lacks - understanding of the fact that we do not have any other option. |
