Comments from the Head of targeted projects Department at SkyWay Technologies Co. Kiryl Badulin:

"To participate in the conference, Skyway Technologies Co. has done a lot of preparatory work. As a result, our display stand distinguished itself among the other participants and attracted everyone's attention. Innovative SkyWay solutions for container transportation and seaports aroused the greatest interest among the participants of the conference.

The main subjects on the first day of the conference were the General concept of developing the Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand, use of renewable energy sources, development of high-speed rail and port infrastructure, development of airport logistics, attraction of financing to realize infrastructure projects. Experts from Bangkok and Singapore delivered their reports on the subjects.

One of the most interesting speeches was the presentation by Oliver Redrup, Director for capital and infrastructure projects at PwC, Singapore, who shared the successful experience in the implementation of the project of high-speed railroads on the route Kuala Lumpur ? Singapore. A similar project can be implemented in Thailand on its basis.

I was also impressed by the presentation from Jeroen Overbeek from Singapore, a senior project Manager in the field of aviation and port infrastructure, Royal HaskoningDHV, on designing marine terminals taking into account their future needs. In his presentation he mentioned such innovative solutions for container haulage as Hyperloop and delivery of containers with drones, however, he noted the difficulties in their practical implementation at the present time. In this respect, the technology of container transportation from SkyWay looks much more perfect and feasible from a practical point of view.

I also paid special attention to the report of Dr. Jittichai Rujanakanoknand, Deputy Director, Transport Institute, Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand). The report was on the development of aviation logistics and the creation of the project of Aerotropolis (an airport integrated with residential areas and industrial enterprises). The necessary conditions to implement this mega project is the creation of urban quarters and new jobs around the new airport, as well as reduction of time and cost of delivering goods and passengers by surface transport. It seems to us that the concept of linear cities and the construction of transport infrastructure at the second level would fit perfectly into the development of this project, which is of special importance for Thailand's governmental agencies. During the discussion Dr. Rujanakanoknand expressed interest in further cooperation, interaction with him will continue."
